About US

We are English Debating Club (EDC) Untirta. EDC Untirta is one of the student organization in University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa which concerns in debate. We have already existed since 2008 and joined in many debate competitions, from regional national and even international level. English Debating Club (EDC) Untirta is the place for developing critical thinking and public speaking skill. 

Here are our achievements so far

1. Top 9 National University English Debating Championship 2012 national round in STIKES Bali
2. Quarter Finalist and Top 12 in Asian English Olympic 2012, and also for individual achievement we grab 3rd and 4th best speaker for novice category
3. Semifinalist National University English Debating Championship 2012 Reg 3 in Bakrie University
4. Semifinalist Adjudicator and Quarter finalist for debate in National University English Debating Championship 2011 Reg 3 in Unika Atmajaya
5. The 1st Winner of Annual English Proficiency Student Competition 2010 
6. Semifinalist Adjudicator in Nationwide English Olympic 2010
7. Semifinalist Adjudicator in Binus International Debating Championship 2010
8. The 1st Winner of Annual English Proficiency Student Competition 2009 
9. Octofinalist in ALSA UI 2009
10. Top 10 best speaker in National University English Debating Championship 2008

We keep on improving our skill to follow next competition to get the best result for our beloved university.
We do also concern to spread and expand our debate knowledge not only for untirta students but also high school students in Banten. We've already corporate with a few schools in Serang, Pandeglang, Cilegon, and Ciruas.

We do all of this because we do believe that debate it's not only how to speak english well, but it trains us how to think smarter and faster than the others.
